UK HEALTH SECURITY AGENCY

The Senior Visualisation Analyst will work in the Extreme Events and Health Protection team (EEHP), and provide support to the Centre for Climate and Health Security (CCHS), building out dashboards and visualisation solutions for a variety of stakeholders.

Main Duties

The postholder should have strong skills using visualisation tools and applying statistical methods and techniques to data, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often interacting with multiple stakeholders. Strong communication skills are key in order to gather requirements, scoping out solutions from delivery all the way to the final build.

The postholder will also support and improve the BI platform for the new version of the Met Office / UKHSA health alert systems, the monitoring platform of the Adverse Weather and Health Plan, ensure the timely publication of the immediate impacts of adverse weather on health and support the development of BI dashboards across the CCHS.

After the development of the platforms within EEHP, the postholder will support the development of similar platforms across the CCHS, as well as maintain those platforms.
