The Role
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be able to manage the definition, analysis, delivery and maintenance of business, project, and system requirements effectively and efficiently. You will also support transformation and change projects for our clients, as projects are typically carried out on client sites, our team member’s work from local, national and international locations for the duration of client engagements. both business and technical. Our projects and programmes are predominantly within the financial services sector delivering transformation and change.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of each role will vary depending on client needs but will include:
- Writing and designing process maps
- Preparing business requirements, documenting ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’ processes and delivering process flows
- Assisting in the development and / or implementation of Target Operating Models
- Coordinating project input
- Defining reporting structures to management
- Formally documenting functions
- Writing process documentation. Experience of making prompt and practical business decisions
Skills and experience
We’re looking for candidates who have Business Analysis experience that can effectively and efficiently manage the definition, analysis, delivery and maintenance of business, project and system requirements.
- Previous experience working within the wider Banking, Financial or Insurance sectors
- Knowledge and/or certifications in other technological disciplines such as data, digital or cloud
- At least 3 years of experience of working as a business analyst
- Previous experience of working in a proxy Product Owner role with exposure to management of Product Backlog and associated deliverables like Epics, Features and User Stories.
- Previous experience of working in an IT enabled change environment. Demonstrable experience of success within a range of complex project environments and sectors
- Significant technical understanding of Business Analysis frameworks, value cycles, business processes, business requirements and UAT methodologies
- Proven ability to integrate well into a team and build relationships with senior stakeholders, proven analytical and sceptical mindset with an ability to develop solutions to technical problems
- Excellent software development skills such as testing and designing
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
- Excellent data analysis skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to negotiate with multiple businesses and stakeholders to find solutions for technical challenges
Desirable Skills & Experience
- A good working knowledge of Agile delivery frameworks like Scrum, Kanban or SAFe.
- Previous experience of working on implementation of one or more Commercial off the shelf products e.g Guidewire, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SalesForce CRM or SAP.
- Software development skills such as testing and designing
