 As a Technology Business Analyst, you will analyze Business Requirements to understand the business needs and to determine how to best functionally fulfil those needs. You will be a strong influencer in ensuring strategic build is in-line with the overall onboarding solution, provide input into design, implementation and testing phases of strategic projects required within onboarding space reference data agenda by utilizing agile (scrum) methodology.

Our Corporate Technology team relies on smart, driven people like you to analyze Business Requirements and provide end user support for all our corporate functions across our network. Your efforts will touch lives all over the financial spectrum and across all our divisions: Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and within the Corporate Administrative Office. You’ll be part of a team specifically built to meet and exceed our evolving technology needs, as well as our technology controls agenda.

Job responsibilities

  • Ability to work independently and manage requests from multiple groups, define business requirement spec working with users.
  • Demonstrate experience of working in a BDD environment.
  • Take ownership of ensuring the requirement is supported and built end to end solution.
  • Prepare presentations for Senior Management and comfortable in a client facing role.
  • Ability to think strategically but have strong attention to detail.
  • Team player, with strong interpersonal and networking skills
  • Proven analytical, organization and planning skills.
  • A track record of defining and successful delivery of new solutions from concept to launch and rollout.
  • Superior written and presentation communication skills
  • Experience in developing test strategy and experience in TDD, Change management experience.
  • Hands on experience in testing, ability to independently do manual testing with maximum coverage.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Business Analyst/Capital Markets & Fixed Income.
  • Experience of working with technology teams to clearly explain requirements, user stories, functionality
  • An understanding of the investment banking – experience in one or more of the following business areas is a major plus : Fixed Income, FX, F&O, Credit Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, and Hedge Funds
  • Experience in Agile development techniques like Scrum and Test Driven development
  • Problem solving skills – superior ability to structure and scope complex problems, apply a range of technology/analytical tools, gain and synthesize insights and develop recommendations
  • Strong organizational skills – ability to take strategic direction and independently develop/manage project plans. Proven ability to frame opportunity, own issues and have the determination to follow tasks/issues through to resolution
  • Client engagement skills – ability to closely partner with senior leaders, business contacts and other stakeholders on projects
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver to a tight deadline

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Familiarity with oracle , modern front-end technologies
  • Exposure to cloud technologies
